Red Orchestra 2 Beta LIVE
Ladies and gentlemen, it is now live.
That’s right, Tripwire Interactive delivers on their beta release date, because as of right now, you can grab the 4GB Red Orchestra 2 Beta on Steam. Well, maybe not, because the beta is limited to selected beta testers and owners of the Digital Deluxe version of Red Orchestra 2. The Beta includes 3 maps (Apartments, Fallen Fighters, and Gumrak) on launch, and more maps may be cycled in or out. There are 3 different gamemodes available in the beta. Firefight is a variation of Team Deathmatch, Countdown is Tripwire’s take on single-life, round-based objective gamemode, and Territory is the classic Red Orchestra gamemode with a bit of updating. The beta will run until the game launches.
Red Orchestra 2 launches on September 13, 2011 on PC, and PC only.
