[Rumour] New Smash Bros. Gets Title?

There’s been very little news regarding the next ‘Smash Bros.’ game since that teenie tiny mention at E3 this year, and while rumours are everywhere in our industry nowadays, this one could possibly be rather legit.

Reddit have publish a single photograph from a Nintendo document seemingly announcing the title of the new ‘Smash Bros.’ title, namely ‘Super Smash Bros. Universe’, announced for Wii U and 3DS.

Of course, we’re taking this with a pinch of salt as ‘Smash Bros.’ head Masahiro Sakurai tweeted after these rumours first come abound saying:

‘I’m currently working on one title, ‘Kid Icarus’. Until this is finished, ‘Smash Bros.’ will not progress. Of course, characters have not been decided at all’.

There is no denying the ‘Smash Bros.’ series is pretty darn excellent, so any news about a new version is welcome, of course nothing has been officially announced. With ‘Kid Icarus’ scheduled for a 2012 release, it could be a long time before we hear anymore about this one.
