The Neo Geo may have been the size of house back in the 90′s. and the games were even bigger (both in size and price) but now we are in a new age where anything can fit in your pocket.
And the Neo Geo is no different, according to a post on Famicom Plaza, there is a new Neo Geo handheld on the way and has some pretty good stats too. The new machine will boast a 4.3 inch display, 2GB of internal memory and will come pre-installed with 20 Neo Geo titles
- World Heroes
- Ultimate 11
- Top Player’s Golf
- Sengoku
- NAM-1975
- Mutation Nation
- Last Resort
- King of Monsters
- Frenzy
- Cyber Lip
- Fatal Fury Special
- Art of Fighting
- Super Sidekicks
- League Bowling
- Metal Slug
- Magician Lord
- Baseball Stars Professional
- Samurai Shodown
- The King of Fighters ’94
- Fatal Fury
Taking a look at the pictures, looks like the device will have a control pad (possibly analogue) four face buttons and four shoulder buttons, interestingly placed next to each other. It will also come with a 200mAH battery, AV port, SD memory card slot and headphones.
No price or release date has been set. Personally I think this is better looking than both the 3DS and Vita put together, taking a leaf out of Apple’s design book and making a machine that is properly handheld.
