Ace Attorney 5 and iOS HD Collection announced

To coincide with the series’ 10th anniversary in Japan, Capcom have announced a new entry to the Ace Attorney series. No details as of yet have been revealed, but this information alone is surely more than enough to get excited, I know I am!

It has also been announced that Capcom is releasing a HD collection game on iOS devices containing the first 3 Ace Attorney games with redrawn art and an upped resolution. This is a cool idea and for anyone who bought the previous versions on iOS can transfer their saves over directly. If that wasn’t enough, Capcom has released some screens for the HD versions, check them out over at Famitsu.

During an event in Japan, Capcom also announced some minor news regarding the upcoming Professor Layton Vs. Ace Attorney title for 3DS, basically that the animated cutscenes are being produced by the animation studio Bones, and the game is due sometime this year.
