Soul Calubur V’s Character Creator.
It’s not like the characters of Soul Calibur V lack imagination, but if you think they are rather dull, then Namco have integrated a character creator into their latest fighter.
It appears that character customisation is the way forward in games, most RPGs have them, and are pretty exhaustive in their choices. But never did I think such an in-depth creator would appear in fighting game.
But Soul Calibur has it – you can pretty much change anything and everything, including the colour of your characters moves. You can see the creator in it’s full splendour in the video below.
But, there is a seedier side to these customisation options. Japanese gamers who have had their hands on the game before any of us Westerners have taken a bunch of photos of some of the more umm… flimsy costumes. That’s right, you can dress your fighter up in lace nightie type thing if you choose. Not entirely sure what sort of protection that would afford, but hey at least the choice is there right?
