Yes, 2D fighting games have a plot to you know.
It shouldn’t really come as a surprise that a 2D fighting game has a story, let alone a story mode. Street Fighter has had its own long winding story since the beginning of time, same as King of Fighters, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom and even Mortal Kombat.
So rising to that challenge is Skullgirls, and this recently released trailer detailing a story line of Skull Hearts and barely clothed ladies. Enjoy.
