3DS DLC goes live.

Japan gets first dibs on Nintendo 3DS DLC.

Nintendo have joined the 21st Century! Today marks the first paid DLC available on their lovely 3DS handheld.

The lucky game that gets the extra content is none other than ‘Tobidasu Print Club Kiradeco Revolution’, a downloadable app which allows you to take pictures and edit them with stamps, frames and MORE, similar to Japanese photo booths. Friggin’ AWESOME, HUH!

The DLC itself is a collection of decorative packs which are themed after ‘Mario Kart 7′, the ‘Spring Trial Set’ or Mario in general. Each set costs 100 Yen, which is about an almighty 80 pence, or $1.27. Not bad really, props to Nintendo for keeping the price down.

The first full retail release expected to support full paid DLC is Square Enix title ‘Theatrhythm’, coming this year.

Check out the video below to see how the content is accessed.
