Double XP for Modern Warfare 3 coming this weekend.
To celebrate the first content collection drop you get double XP all weekend long.
The first content drop for Modern Warfare 3 dropped yesterday for all Xbox 360 owners, and all players across all platforms will be treated to some double XP goodness.
When you log on to the multiplayer portion of Modern Warfare 3 you will be greeted with a message:
DLC Collection 1 is available for purchase now. New MP maps and SO Missions await you. Plus, earn Double XP this weekend.
Double XP will start this Friday and spread across all platforms and playlists and will run through until early Monday. It is still unknown when the content collection will arrive on other platforms but if the past is any indication it will be available in about a month or so.
The first content collection contains four new multiplayer maps Liberation, Piazza, Overwatch and Black Box, and two Spec Ops missions, Black Ice and Negotiator sand will cost you 1200 Microsoft points.
