Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode II. New trailer and content info.
Interesting news for those who still own Episode I.
Here’s some cool news coming from the camp of Sonic Team. Firstly, release dates have been announced for ‘Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode II’. Dropping first on PSN on May 15th, the following day on XBLA. PC and iOS owners will likely follow this, with nothing but a vague May release. June will see the release on Android and finally July for Xbox Live Windows Phone. Still no love for Nintendo then?
Moving on, a nice little tidbit of information for owners of ‘Sonic 4: Ep I’. If you purchase ‘Ep II’ you will be able to unlock ‘Episode Metal’, featuring a barrage on content unsurprisingly linked to Metal Sonic. This includes Metal Sonic as a fully playable character, four exclusive levels and also a chance to discover the ‘rebirth of Metal Sonic’. What this means, we can only speculate. An origin story video? Gameplay? We’ll soon find out.
This pretty awesome content will stretch across all devices, so as long as you have ‘Ep I’ on the system you’re downloading ‘Ep II’ onto, you can access it.
