Take a First Look At Mojang’s 0x10c
Here we have the first screens for Markus “Notch” Persson’s new project, sure it looks like minecraft but it sounds much more ambitious.
You can tell much from these screens, because only one was officially released, the rest have been obtained by some clever URL messing.
Details we have so far about this new game is that it will feature a fully programable computer, ships with limited power so, so device management is key. Judging from the screens ans the random blocks that are in the air, gravity will play a major part in this game, along with all the other physics based tomfoolery outer space brings.
The bad news is that all the ships systems and physics are on at all times requiring a subscription service to pay for the servers. Interesting is how I would describe it.
